The 457 is a very accurate rifle and might just be the very best 22.rimfire rifle currently on the market for that price . BTW I have a Bergara B-14R 17HMR and it is very good ...The B-14R is scaled on the Remington 700 action, uses the same stock as the HMR, and will fit in any chassis or stock made for the R700. The BMR utilizes a dedicated rimfire receiver, and with the exception of the trigger, isn't compatible with any parts from the R700. The CZ 457 Varmint MTR that I bought new, was not threaded. The CZ 457 Varmint Precision Trainer MTR appears to be threaded, but @ $1450 MSRP, I'd get the Bergara B14R. This. I have a pro varmint supressor ready model that I put in a bravo chassis and its quickly becoming my favorite rifle.

The Bergara has only one option. From experience with multiple examples the T1X and CZ are practically the same with regards to accuracy. Interestingly, the T1X samples have been a little better with high velocity ammunition compared to the CZ. I prefer the bolt on the T1X and CZ to the Bergara.
