You’re gonna have to leave your kingdom, renounce fiefs, then take up arms against another kingdom and take a castle. Then you’ll have the option to start a kingdom, but you’ll need lots of money and a decent starting army. My strat was waiting for rebellions and then taking the castle without inquiring too much war debt. Quyaz and Ortysia are two high prosperity towns, good for workshops. Taking both would help immensely grow and fund a fledgling kingdom. Revyl has great positioning, it’s in Sturgia. Again, one way in. But it only has two villages and won’t be able to afford you as high of a garrison or army. I start as a Merc as soon as possible, after I serve as vassal. And I prefer to stay as a vassal for choosen kingdom. To become lot of fiefs is not so profitable in this game, I just fight for my king. I was already choosen as a new King after the current ruler was killed.
