281 posts · Joined 2015. #1 · Mar 14, 2021. Good day everyone, A few times the car has been turning off while i drive. I lifted the hood and found the negative cable was loose on the battery post. So, i had tighten it but it kept coming loose. I brought a new negative cable and just replaced it.This morning, I found I cannot start the car after connecting the battery. No cranking at all. Green key light on the dash, both key fobs are not recognized by the car and cannot lock/unlock the door. I did some quick research, tried to push the shifter knob and it did not help at all. Also checked the battery voltage and all fuse, no issues found.5. Having the battery disconnected and out of the vehicle eliminates any damage to the vehicle electrical system that could occure if the battery charger malfunctions. 6. It only makes good sense!
