Carb link and sync, idle timing, can combine and cause low speed problems. A '9' heat range is too cold and will cause a low of low end problems.Also you will need to disconnect the 3 way fitting that connects the oil line into the fuel line and directly connect the fuel lines. I did it on my 85 150 black max xr2. I think my pump was starting to go bad also. Smokes a bit more but you know the oil is getting in the cylinders. Don't forget to pre-mix 50-1.
