Mar 30, 2018 · I did a P80 compact build. I used an Exacto saw for the recoil spring area. I used the wife's Emory set for the file work. It flexes and doesn't scratch other areas. I had to file quite a bit on the rear rail to get it to clear the trigger bar. It shoots really well. Looking forward to the next build. The complete kit comes with a frame, finishing jig, drill bits and all the P80-specific parts you'll need for the build. You will still need a lower parts kit—trigger unit, slide stop, magazine release, etc.—to complete the build, as well as a top end. These frame kits normally retail for $150 but seem to go on sale frequently.
